Just over a year ago, East Coast Captures started as a small dream. Today, it feels incredible to look back on the first year of capturing love, laughter, and real-life moments across St. John’s.
When I started East Coast Captures, I knew I wanted to focus on something real: capturing honest moments through lifestyle portraits, wedding photography, and family sessions. From windswept beaches and rocky trails to forest clearings and family living rooms, every session this year reminded me exactly why I fell in love with photography.
This year brought so many unforgettable sessions and milestones:

Every photo tells its own story, and I’m so grateful to everyone who trusted me to capture theirs.
This year also reminded me that photography is about so much more than taking pictures. It’s about building trust, helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera, calming wedding day nerves, making little ones giggle, and capturing those quiet moments that often become the most treasured.
Looking ahead, year two is already shaping up to be even more exciting, with more beautiful Newfoundland weddings, engagement and family sessions, and fresh creative ideas in the works. I’m always on the lookout for new scenic spots around St. John’s and beyond to make every session feel unique and personal.
